Tournament info

The goal of Prague Winter tournament is to create good quality tourney in Prague, which will repeat and improve every year. Based on good relationships from WUCC 2010, this tournament is located at Strahov area, one of two main areas, where Worlds were played. Fields, accommodation, food and party are placed very close to each other, so it should be very pleasant for all players to move around. After succesfull first edition, we are bringing you Prague Winter 2012

Prague Winter 2012 will be on January 28-29, 2012. 

We have three fields with artificial grass under one roof. These fields have 50x20 meters size, like classic indoor fields. We play 5 on 5. You can play on this type of grass in turfs or cleats, but there can't be any metal parts, part of the bottom of your cleats. We will have 16 Open teams and 8 Women teams. Each team will play 8 games (5 on Saturday, 3 on Sunday). Games will be 30 minutes long. 5 minutes between the end and start of next game. Schedule will be up after the New Year.

Next to the fields is a building, where there are dressing rooms with showers and toilets for you, place to get a breakfast and pub where you can get food during the day. In this building there will be a Check-In on Friday night. Accommodation is at Strahov Dorms, located just across the road from the fields and pub.

Parking is possible in front of the main building and next to the fields. When you enter the main gate to the Strahov stadium, please park on the left hand side, which will be for us. The right side is needed for soccer teams they will play some games during the weekend in the stadium. There is also possibility to park outside of the Strahov stadium, in case there is no space left inside. But we have around 50 parking spots booked for us, so it shouldn't be a problem.
