Yellow Fever from Prague in Women division and Prague Devils in Open division are the winners of Prague Winter 2012. Spirit of the Game goes to Austrian girls Box and German Gummibarchen in open division.

After this year succesfull first editon of Prague Winter tournament, we are bringing you second edition. The tournament will be held on January 28-29, 2012. Seagulls from Hamburg in Women division and Prague Devils in Open division are the winners of Prague Winter first edition. Spirit of the Game goes to Italian girls Frasba dal Lac and Czech masters team Tios.

Parking

Parking is possible in front of the main building and next to the fields. When you enter the main gate to the Strahov stadium, please park on the left hand side, which will be for us. The right side is needed for soccer teams they will play some games during the weekend in the stadium. There is also possibility to park outside of the Strahov stadium, in case there is no space left inside. But we have around 50 parking spots booked for us, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Format of play & Schedule

Here is Format of play and Schedule for the tournament. All teams will play 8 games. Game is 30 minutes long, 1 timeout per team (not in last two minutes). Point cap is 15, no draw, team can win only by one point. Finals will be 40 minutes long, point cap is 15, half time at 8, 1 timeout per half (not in last two minutes). 5 minutes break between games. Open division has 4 pools with 4 teams. Teams play each other there. Top two advances in Top pools and bottom two from the first pools go to Bottom pools.

Party on Saturday will be held in cafe Divadlo na Pradle. It is located near Vltava river and Kampa park which is 5 minutes from the Charles Bridge. We will print out instructions how to get there from the fields and places of your stay. It is not far and the best way is to walk down the Petrin hill, it is about 20 minutes walk. You will get free welcome drink.
